Jean Brooks

   Jean Brooks, 65, of Hennessey died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at Mercy Health
Center in Oklahoma City.
   Funeral services were held Friday at the Church of Christ in Crescent with
Curt Booth officiating.  Burial followed at Oakland Knowles Cemetery, under
direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home of Hennessey.
   She was born Sept. 22, 1936, in Apache to Joe F. and Jenieve Reid Coonfield.
   She married Alfred Brooks on Oct. 4, 1955, in Newkirk.
   Survivors include her husband, Alfred of the home;  one son, Troy of the
home;  one daughter, Sandra Stout of Hennessey, and three grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one son.
