Calvin A. Dupy: D100 Calvin A. Dupy, son of Milton and Katherine Dupy, was born at Goddard, Sedgwick County, Kansas, on August 21, 1881, and departed this life at his home near Dover on the morning of April 23, 1938, at the age of 56 years, 8 months and 2 days. At the age of 11 years he moved with his parents to Dover, where he spent his youth and grew to manhood. It was there that he met and was married to Ruby Ruth Curtis. To this union three children, two sons and one daughter, were born. Mr. Dupy was a kind husband, a loving father, a helpful neighbor and a loyal friend. He was one of whome it could be truly said: he did not have an enemy. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Elmer E. Dupy of Little Rock, Ark., and John A. Dupy of Dover. He leaves to mourn: his wife; two sons, Alvin and Raymond of Dover; one daughter, Dona of the home address; six sisters, Maggie E. Osborn of Bryan, Tex., Laura M. Day of Whichita, Kans., Minnie J. McCully of Kingfisher, Mollie J. Dillon of Milan, Kans., Emma M. Pratt of Dover, and Almeda A. Tilbury, also of Dover; one brother, Warren C. Dupy of Waynoka; four grandchildren, Leroy, Ladonna Lou, Gary Gene and Lorna Lee, all of Dover; many other relatives and a host of friends. Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Dover Christian Church with Rev. A.F. Whitehurst officiating. Interment was made in the New Home Cemetery.
